Burlington PIP Makes History with Second “Franchisee of the Year” Award, Plus Franchise Top 10 and Industry Top 100 Awards

Parent company grants graphic communication scholarship in their name

MISSION VIEJO, Calif., September 1, 2012— PIP Printing and Marketing Services has named Jimmy and Judy Brumley, owners of the PIP center in Burlington, “Franchisee of the Year.” This is the second time the Brumleys have won the franchisor’s most prestigious award, and the first time in history a franchisee has won the honor twice. Their first Franchisee of the Year award was in 2007. The Brumleys are also perennial members of the PIP network’s Top 10 franchises based on annual sales volume; this year they ranked at number five. They were also distinguished with a Quick Printing magazine Top 100 award, which ranks printers industry-wide based on 2011 sales volume. This year’s successes follow close on the heels of the Brumley’s top sales rep, Lee Whitaker, winning the franchisor’s highest salesperson honor, the Don F. Lowe Salesperson of the Year award, in 2011. The Brumley’s awards were presented during the PIP International Convention, held August 15-19 at the Hyatt Regency in Baltimore.

 

While recognizing the Brumleys at the Convention, Don Lowe, CEO of Franchise Services, Inc., announced that a PIP scholarship would be granted in their honor. The scholarship will be made in partnership with the Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation (EDSF), a non-profit organization dedicated to the document management and communications industries. It will provide $2,000 to support students attending California Polytechnic State University’s Graphic Communication program in the 2012 academic year.

Night Moves

A Couple of Weeks Ago – Two Men and A Truck of Greensboro (A Great Client Of Ours) came to us with a need! They had decided to set up a booth at the Piedmont Triad Business Showcase and was needing a new idea on how to brand their new offerings!

They have always been a great moving service – but is now going to offer Night Moves. This is a Service where if you need to move after work – they have the team and manpower to get it done.

The Showcase would be a revealing of the new offers to the public and they wanted to do it in a big different way. The team here at PIP Burlington has a great concept. Our Creative Director Katie – worked up two concepts.

The Client Loved the one! Then Production Manager Jeremy Mitchell and Quality Control Manager Greg Mullis – put some further thought into it and then the “Lights” went off!
