2013 Summertime Brews Festival!

photo 1We were happy to help our friends at Rock92 and 105.KZL with programs for this year’s annual Summertime Brews Festival at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex!

Presented by Bestway Grocery, brewers from all over the world travel to the triad to offer over 300 different beers! VIP and General Admission tickets get the public in for unlimited beer tasting, free giveaways and prizes, live music and a good time! This has been the southeast’s favorite beer festival since 2005 and gets more and more popular every year!

PIP gladly provided fully loaded programs with a directory of all the brewers and other vendors present to be passed out to everyone, along with their tasting glass, as they arrive!

PIP Meet & Greet

This week, meet…

michaelMichael Goins, Graphic Designer

A former employee with Sir Speedy in Statesville, North Carolina, Michael Goins joined PIP Greensboro in 2010 with an interest in working within a larger market, seeing the opportunity to continue working within Franchise Services a benefit. With is main focus on graphics for PIP’s Greensboro location, Michael also supervises digital color production and pitches in with bindery, black and white production, and whatever else a team member may need assistance with!

Originally from Mount Airy, Michael now lives in Kernersville with his wife and two children, enjoying his free time as a movie buff and wood worker.

In September of 2011, Goins was the emcee at Power Up Your Marketing, an interactive breakfast seminar about company marketing with guest speaker David Robidoux.

“In particular, I love the work environment here at PIP. It’s jovial and professional at the same time, and we all work toward the same goals, speaking of which… the merger with Burlington, which has resulted in ‘PIP of the Triad’, has been an interesting adventure. The wider net of customers and work poses a wonderful challenge for the future, and having more ships in the armada means more hands to work toward the same goal. Which is, of course, profitability and growth.” – Michael Goins

111Linsey Frost, Graphic Designer

Freelance Artist and recent graduate of UNC Greensboro, Linsey Frost, was invited to join PIP’s creative team in January of 2013.

Linsey is one of three full time designers at our Burlington store. She also assists our Marketing Director with social media, photography and website development and has recently begun helping our sales team with Ad Specialty research, finding the best promotional products at the best possible prices for our customers.

Outside of PIP, Linsey is a member of the promotions team at Dick Broadcasting Company in Greensboro for Rock 92.3 and 107.5 KZL. As a freelance artist, Linsey offers custom artwork, mural painting, photography, outsourced architectural rendering, and web design.

Native to the Triad area, Linsey currently lives in Graham and enjoys playing music and time spent outdoors with her two dogs.

“PIP’s interest in me was a nice change of pace for a college graduate on the job hunt! Already familiar with their services, I jumped at the opportunity. I think everyone’s warm personality and genuine efforts to come together as a team for our customers really makes our business, the Burlington and Greensboro stores in particular, stand out within the industry… I’ve never felt more eager to get to work each day!” – Linsey Frost
